As Haiti renews its agricultural base and decentralizes, smaller Town and Village Centers will come back to life as well.  Landscape Stewardship And Living Off the Land Patterns At the Urban Level Include: a Garden Network at a range of scales, from window boxes and kitchen gardens to urban community farms and gardens at publicly accessible and undeveloped sites, and Green Streets (street trees and plantings) as part of Integrated Water Resource Management system.

Kreyol Settlement Structure Patterns At the Urban Level include: neighborhood scale Lakou at the centers of blocks, Urban Sidewalk Galri creating a Caribbean type of “Great Street” with that leverages for commercial and civic activity, urban infrastructure that strengthen regional links, and  buildings and neighborhoods that accommodate & nurture a mix of residential and working life.
